Our Choirs

Madison Central and Rosa Scott Choirs

Reveille Show Choir (10-12th)

Audition for our large competitive show choir, Reveille! Sing and dance with your friends, travel, compete, and entertain. Clinic and singing/dancing Auditions are held in May each year.  Class is 1st block.

Radiance Show Choir (9th)

Audition for our Freshmen competitive show choir, Radiance! Sing and dance with your friends, travel, compete, and entertain. Clinic and singing/dancing Auditions are held in May each year. Meets 6th block at Rosa Scott.

Madrigal Singers (10-12th)

Audition for our top-tier ensembles, Madrigals! These ensembles focus on a cappella music and high-level music making.  Each year, they perform the Madrigal Dinner at Christmastime. Over the years, Madrigals have performed at the State Capitol and Governor’s Mansion! We also perform for the community at Christmas and participate in a variety of honor choir opportunities. Auditions are in May.  Class meets 3rd block (SATB) and 7th block (SSA).

 

MC Chamber Choir (10-12th)

Join the MC Chamber Choir! No audition necessary! This is a non-audition choir that focuses on building singing skills.  Make music with your friends, enjoy honor choir opportunities, and learn a wide variety of musical styles. Choir experience is not necessary. Come join us!  Meets 2nd block.

 

Rosa Scott Chamber Choir (9th)

Join the Rosa Scott Chamber Choir! No audition necessary!  This is a non-audition choir that focuses on building singing skills. Make music with your friends, enjoy honor choir opportunities, and learn a wide variety of musical styles. Choir experience is not necessary.  Come join us! Meets 6th block at Rosa Scott.

Stage Crew (9-12th)

Interview for the Stage Crew! The crew builds sets for the Musical, Reveille, and Radiance shows. The crew travels to all competitions with the show choirs!  Interviews are in May. Class is 8th block at MCHS.  For more info email cmelton@madison-schools.com

 

Revolution Show Band (9-12th)

All instrumentalists are welcome to audition for the show choir band, Revolution!  Revolution accompanies the two show choirs, Reveille and Radiance, for all their performances and competitions. Come play and travel with your friends!  No matter the instrument, there is a place for you. Auditions are in May. Class is 8th block at MCHS.

 

Fall Musical (9-12th)

Ninth-Twelfth grade students are encouraged to audition for the Fall Musical. Whether onstage or backstage, it’s a great way to get involved in the arts at Madison Central!  Auditions for actors/singers are in August.
